Aquascaping Adhesives Buyers Guide

Learn how to use the right adhesive for the job and create a long lasting aquascape

Live rock gives your fish structure to swim in and out of while also giving them a place rest and hide. The rock structure will also give your a place to put your corals at different levels and positions throughout your aquarium. Traditionally aquascaping requires stacking rocks together to create a visually appealing structure. It is almost impossible to create a solid structure out of dry live rock, and that is where super glues, epoxies, and cements come into play. The joints and seams can be glued together to turn your aquascape into a solid piece of rock that is very difficult to break apart. We like to use a mixture of super glues, epoxies, and cements, depending on the specific application and the strength the joint will require.
